Job Description:
Social Media Manager |Toys | London, Hybrid- 2 day in the office per week|
This is a brand new position created within a global toy business due to exponential year- on- year growth. The successful candidate will have a lot of autonomy to make this role their own working with the company’s number one brand.

The successful candidate will be immersed in the UK Brand and Marketing team, which is at the heart of the European business.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
* Manage social pages developing strategies to increase brand awareness and fan engagement
* Create a compelling content strategy for all social channels
* Analyse the performance of owned social media channels and optimise strategy accordingly
* Set monthly engagement and channel growth objectives
* Responsible for community management- monitor and engage with all customer social activity
* Create a monthly trend update report showing emerging social media trends
* Support paid social media advertising alongside brand managers and retained media
* Manage social media content /freelancer relationships
* Keep track of all competitor activity as part of monthly reporting
* Manage free of charge UK influencer programme for all brands alongside retained PR
* Facilitate paid influencer campaigns alongside brand managers
* Manage and create social assets for all brands to share with key retail partners
* Build strong relationships with US-based global social and marketing teams to align on content and comms priorities
* Build strong relationships with UK-based brand and sales teams to align on local comms priorities
Skills & Experience:
* Self-motivated and self-sufficient
* Excellent copywriting skills
* Expert knowledge of all social media platforms and trends
* Hands-on experience in content management
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Proactive problem solver with a creative mindset
* Ability to work on a wide variety of projects and hit deadlines, able to prioritise accordingly
* Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships
