Do you have experience of operating mobile plant, e.g. bulldozers, articulated dumpers and loading shovels? An NVQ2 or equivalent in mobile plant operations? Willing to drive to our other Sand & Gravel quarries to provide cover when required? As roving Quarry Operative, based at either Kennetholme (Berkshire) or New Barn Farm, Cholsey (Oxfordshire), you can expect a weekly pay rate of around £657 plus a host of great benefits, including:

About the Quarry Operative role

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running in this multi-location role. From checking the engine, tyres and oil levels, to re-fuelling at the end of your shift, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of various mobile plant machinery. 
You will also cover our Weighbridge Operator when needed – greeting customers, inspecting documentation and producing accurate weighbridge tickets for all loads entering and leaving the site. 
What we’re looking for in our Quarry Operative

- Experience of operating mobile plant

- NVQ2 or equivalent in mobile plant operations

- Full UK driving licence 

- Ideally, quarrying experience

- Team player with a positive and professional attitude

- Flexible approach
Working hours: 47.5 hours, Mon-Fri inclusive, 6.30am-4.30pm
