RM Recruit is excited to partner with a dynamic, fast-growing company in Coleshill seeking a confident, articulate Assistant Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract basis. The role has the scope to become permanent and offers a flexible, hybrid working environment with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will provide finance & business support to Customer Service, Sales & Marketing and Government & Defence departments.
* Raising dealer invoices and credits
* Provide Dealer and Customer support for the Off-Road Vehicles and Motorcycle business
Manage & Oversee shipments to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and properly invoiced
* Resolve any shipment, delivery or invoicing issues
* Liaise and support Customer Service and IS team with queries and errors with factoring company (Debts are factored through Wells Fargo) to ensure integrity of the Accounts Receivable Ledger
* Strong reconciliation and reporting skills to support Customer statement and invoice queries
* Provide credit control support and commentary for aged debt
* Support the Financial Controller with statutory audit and tax queries
* Support the Financial Controller with Budget and Forecasts
* Assist in preparation of month end and year end accounts
* Assist with VAT returns
* Support the Financial Controller with HR and payroll tasks
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience, with advanced Excel skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. A confident nature and strong customer service skills are highly advantageous. The candidate should be able to work well both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.
