Job Description:
Are you interested in working as a Stores Controller for a company that provides state of the art workspace including fully serviced offices and purpose-built workshop and engineering space? The company also offers short term co-working spaces and virtual offices for start-up and growing businesses.
The salary is up to £27,000 per annum dependant on experience.
Hours of work are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. The role is 100% office based due to the nature of the work; no home working is permitted.
The company offers excellent benefits including free parking, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, dental care plan, health care plan and an annual bonus depending on the company’s performance.
The company will provide extensive training, online and in company.

Job Purpose
Supervise / manage all aspects of the engineering stores and workshop, ensuring these areas comply with Health & Safety legislation and all relevant service standards and workshop policies. To ensure adequate levels of materials & equipment as required for training and carry out small maintenance and repairs works as and when required
Principal Accountabilities
Maintain stores integrity, managing issue & return of tools and materials. Assist in material deliveries, preparation and storage. Raise & progress purchase orders for tools and consumables. Ensure tools etc meet Health & Safety requirements; repair / replace as required. Check and raise orders for removal of waste materials when required. Stock takes every 6 months. Cutting stock material to size as requested by client, according to SLA requirements. Contractor control. Stock control for Skill net procurement. Attend weekly meetings. Maintain monthly workshop health & safety check & defect report. Liaise with contractors for periodical Workshop Equipment Servicing & Calibration of the following equipment (this list is not exhaustive) Fixed Lathes, Mills, Drills, Saws, Vehicle ramps, Welding equipment, Exhaust extraction, MOT bay equipment, Machine shop equipment, Wheel balancers, Tyre changers, Emission testers. Carryout small machine repairs and order parts as necessary, carryout campus maintenance/repair tasks as directed by Head of Facilities, the following tasks are examples of requirements, although list is not exhaustive - Complete regular ladder inspections, Painting floor in all workshop areas, Installing door locks as requested, Installing door closers, Regular site lake clearance, Signage installation, Sink drain maintenance, General workshop maintenance.
Helpdesk tasks - Input and control of Helpdesk contracts data, Input of ongoing auditing data, Review Open Helpdesk Incidents General - Computer Literate on Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, Helpdesk application
