Our client, located in Birmingham city centre, is a market leader in professional services. They are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their extensive client finance team. This role involves managing key client contracts and overseeing two team members. The Finance Manager will handle monthly reporting deliverables, making this position ideal for an accountant with supervisory experience.
Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting your team both in and out of the office, continuously striving for improvement. The successful candidate will manage a unique portfolio of clients in the property sector, which requires specific reporting experience. Your team will handle a range of tasks from month-end packs, accruals and prepayments, to budgets, forecasts, variances, and addressing complex queries.
Skills Required * Experience with property accounting, or in a professional services enironment working in a client facing role.
* Ideally, a finalist or part-qualified accountant. QBE candidates will also be considered.
* Essential management or supervisory experience.
* Strong communication skills and proven client-facing experience.
