Prime Time is led by Sam Homes, this role will report directly to the co-founders and work closely with the Marketing Director, Connor Willis and the wider SLT.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Financial Controller with strong numeric skills and an engaging personality to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a young, fast-growing beer brand and contribute significantly to our success.
Location: South-West London (Hybrid)
This role can be full or part-time, and FTE remuneration is £60-£75k DOE.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Management:
* Oversee bookkeepers, accounts assistants, and manage relationships with agencies.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including managing systems, supplier relationships, credit control, payroll, and statutory deadlines.
* Handle R&D tax relief applications.
* Conduct regular reviews with departmental heads to optimize cost base and mitigate risks.
* Analyse financial trends for strategic planning.
* Oversee capital projects and investments.
* Monitor cash flow and interpret financial information for updates and actions.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts, tracking actual performance against plans.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and legislation.
Relationship Management:
* Foster relationships with service providers and contractors, including banks, HMRC, and accountants.
* Manage shareholder and potential investor communications.
Systems & Processes:
* Design, implement, and maintain robust financial procedures to support operations and back-office systems.
Ideal Candidate
* Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Proficient in accounting software (Xero) and advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel).
* Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries, preferably with a strong understanding of the beer market.
