SEN Teacher - Waltham Forest

I am currently working alongside a lovely all-through SEN school who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a mixed KS1 class for students with Visual and Hearing Impairment and/or additional needs.
The position is based in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest and will be a part-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to go permanent at the end of the academic year. The position is paid to scale depending on your experience.
About the role:
* All-through SEN school
* Mixed KS1 class, Year 1 and Year 2
* Part-time, long-term contract
* Opportunity to go permanent
* M1 to M6 pay scale plus SEN allowance
* Leading a class of up to 9 students with Autism and/or learning difficulties
* Training and regular CPD’s provided by the school to boost professional development
The ideal candidate:
* Have experience working and teaching in a SEN environment
* Led classes with students with Autism
* Can work from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
* Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
