They are now looking to expand their Manchester team with a passionate and experienced Social Housing Solicitor.
As a Social Housing Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in their mission to support and protect the rights of those involved in the social housing sector. You will work on a diverse caseload that includes:
* Advising housing associations and local authorities on regulatory compliance.
* Handling cases involving tenancy agreements, evictions, and homelessness.
* Providing legal advice on housing management and policy development.
* Engaging in advocacy work to promote fair housing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and progress a varied caseload of social housing matters.
* Provide clear, practical, and concise legal advice to clients.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to social housing.
* Represent clients in court and tribunal hearings.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation and policy.
* Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage a diverse and busy caseload effectively.
* Experience in representing both landlords and tenants is desirable.
