Job Description:
Robert Half Cambridge have partnered with a company in Peterborough in their search for a Tax Manager to join their finance team.
This role is based in the office on a full time basis. Salary offered up to £38,000, depending on experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working closely with the Tax Director and other Tax Managers to deliver the team strategy
* Implementing agreed department processes and procedures
* Day-to-day management of UK tax compliance work
* Successful delivery of UK personal tax compliance services
* Review and sign out of UK personal tax returns
* Provision of UK tax advisory services for individuals, including the preparation of technical tax advice notes and reports for clients if required
* Supporting the team with training and development
* Keeping up to date with UK tax law changes and sharing knowledge with the team
* Supporting marketing and business development initiatives
Experience:
* The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent personal tax experience
* Relevant accountancy and/or tax qualifications (ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ ACCA) would be beneficial but tax experience is key.
* You will be an excellent communicator, able to work to deadlines and manage your own workload effectively, as well as being able to work well with others.
