Governance Manager - Business ResilienceRecruitment Partner: Jim TrusslerAs a Governance Manager - Business Resilience, you will report into the Head of Governance, Risk and Process, and will be part of the Central Operations team. You will manage and deliver the Business Resilience programme across all business functions, and support with facilitation of corporate risk registers and Crisis Management processes.About the role· Responsible for managing and delivering the Business Continuity Programme across all functional areas, using relevant policy and management systems, and working with process owners, subject matter experts and senior leadership teams.· Advise and coach those involved in business continuity processes to help ensure effective and efficient delivery. Help them to base their expectations on the requirements of documented management systems, assist them with exercising their plans, and provide any feedback and reporting as outputs following the exercise.· As Subject Matter Expert for Business resilience, you will support and advise IT functions with disaster recovery processes and Procurement with third party assessments to ensure robust resilience is in place.· In accordance with current Enterprise Risk Management policy and process, you will liaise with Business risk owners and related action owners to understand their risk identification, management, and relevant mitigation.· Support the delivery of Crisis Management activities including assistance with learning reviews, and create archives for guidance to assist with future crises.· Design and deliver effective and up to date compliance management systems.· Support with facilitation of the Governance meeting programme.What you’ll need to have· Competence in the design and application of business continuity processes.· Understanding of relevant British Standards and good practice guidance in the areas of business resilience, risk and crisis management.· Knowledge of the key processes within the business.· Impact and influence on a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior leaders.· Relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills - to work with peers and with senior internal stakeholders.· Resilience, with the ability to balance commercial and business objectives with business continuity objectives.· Strong capability to articulate and coach others in the requirements of business continuity processes in a practical, pragmatic, and motivational manner.It would be great if you also have· Membership of the Business Continuity Institute and/or Institute of Risk Management.Our benefits
