What will I be doing?
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Working closely with finance, procurement and external suppliers to implement a consumables / lab stocks strategy that supports business objectives and ensures best value to the organisation.
* Managing consumables within the central stores and on behalf of each building on a daily / weekly basis, ensuring stock levels are managed accurately and no shortages occur.
* Communicating clearly and effectively to all levels in respect of any supply issues.
* Ensuring supplies are delivered and logged onto the NetSuite system / AMICI.
* Overseeing and managing all waste streams within the organisation.
* Engaging throughout the business to ensure all customers understand and follow facilities-related procedures.
What skills and experience are required?
* Previous warehouse experience
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
What else do I need to know?
This position is offered initially as a 6-month temporary role.
