Job Description:
NJR Recruitment are insurance recruitment specialists in the North West. We are delighted to be able to display this new opportunity for an individual with good commercial insurance sales experience to join a commercial brokerage in Cheadle as New Business Executive.
The New Business Executive position is a pure New Business/Sales role where you will be provided with a portfolio of leads to work on to generate new business opportunities. You will be required to liaise with prospective clients in relation to their insurance needs, with the view of converting them into new clients for the business. Whilst the role would predominantly be phone based, there will also be opportunities to visit clients in person.
As New Business Executive, you will be dealing with commercial clients with their requirements spanning a range of products, therefore commercial insurance knowledge and experience is essential for the role.
The role comes with a competitive salary and great bonus opportunities for everything generated.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contacting prospective clients in relation to their insurance needs to generate and convert new business opportunities.
* Managing the relationship with any new clients brought on for 12 months, before passing on to the Renewals team.
* Identifying and taking advantage of any cross-selling opportunities with your clients.
* Providing an outstanding and highly professional service to all clients, creating a positive, lasting impression of the business.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Background and experience within the commercial insurance sector within a broking/sales capacity.
* An individual with a strong sales acumen who is driven and motivated by securing new business and producing results.
* Knowledge of a mix of general commercial insurance products is required.
* A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills are a must.
* Be well organised and able to manage your time effectively to produce results.
