Role Overview:
Citi technology are seeking a highly motivated IT professional to join our Production support team located in Belfast. This is an opportunity to join a Global team providing Middle Office Application Support across our suite of Middle Office applications; these applications form a key part of our trade lifecycle interlinking with front-office and back-office systems.
In addition, this role will involve regional responsibilities for our Middle Office Application Support Team and the successful candidate will work in partnership with our Global team as part of a follow the sun working model.
What we’ll be looking for:
* Previous experience within Application Support based role
* Experience supporting applications hosted within Unix environment
* Database SQL knowledge
* Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
* Statistical and analytical mind set with proactive ingenuity and creativity
Key Responsibilities include:
* The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst is responsible to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
* Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution.
* Performs other duties and functions as assigned
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
