Working within a small and friendly finance department, the successful candidate will provide support in ensuring that reporting and financial transactions are up to date, timely and accurate. The successful candidate will be both conscientious and well organised, with a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience experience gained within a similar finance role, ideally within the travel sector, is essential for the position and in return, our client can offer a competitive salary of up to £28k plus excellent benefits including travel incentives, company pension, onsite parking and your birthday off!

Role of Finance Assistant:
* Completing Daily Sales & Commission reports (with analysis and commentary)
* Bank Account reconciliations
* Credit card reconciliation and postings
* Supplier reconciliation for cost of sales
* Assisting with the weekly Cashflow Forecast
* Assisting with Month end Management Accounts preparation
* Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* Analysis of key general ledger accounts
Skills required for the role:
* Previous gained in a similar finance role
* Good communication skills by phone, email and face to face
* Good IT skills, particularly Excel
* An analytical, inquisitive mindset
* Ability to work under pressure, show initiative and prioritise tasks
* Attention to detail
* Studying AAT
* Experience using Sage and/or Dolphin would be an advantage
