The role...

As part of the Finance Team you will have an important part to play to ensure the smooth running of finance procedures for both the company and their suppliers. Some of the daily duties: * Sorting incoming invoices via email/post for both Suppliers & Sub-Contractors ready for processing
* Matching invoices to PO numbers using internal goods receipting system
* Gaining authorisation for invoices with missing PO numbers
* Checking coding of invoices, VAT and ensure saved under correct department
* Liaising with other invoices relating to incorrect invoices
* Dealing with general enquiries relating rejected invoices.
* Posting invoices and credits via SAGE 50 when required by the team.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with a hands on approach, the ability to use their own initiative to process a large volume of complex invoices, quickly and with a high degree of accuracy. The right candidate will also: * Have strong communication skills and able to build a rapport with internal departments and external suppliers/contractors
* Strong IT skills with MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Experience of using SAGE 50
* Good attention to detail, numerate and able to maintain this accuracy when working to deadlines
* Knowledge of the a similar role within Construction sector and CIS/DRC would be highly desirable but not a necessity
