Job Description:
Office Administrator
£22,500 + monthly attendance bonus
Chester
Working for a small, well-established business the Office Administrator will provide general administration support to colleagues. The Office Administrator will work as part of a motivated, hard-working team, who provide training and celebrate success.
Benefits include an attendance bonus; 22 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service to 27 days; free parking onsite.
Hours of work are full or part time, between Monday - Thursday 9-530, Friday 830-5.
Key responsibilities and duties:
• Checking and distributing voicemail messages, opening post/emails and distributing promptly to the correct person.
• Greeting visitors and showing them to the appropriate meeting room, providing drinks.
• Answering incoming calls and ensuring calls or messages are transferred to the relevant colleague.
• Maintaining day-to-day office supplies, checking stationery inventory regularly to ensure levels are maintained and new requirements are ordered when necessary, following approval from the Office Manager.
• Taking of relevant customer fees via the card terminal.
• Scanning and certifying documentation.
• Ensuring customer files are regularly filed away throughout the day and maintaining the monthly archive of onsite files whilst ensuring records for these files are accurate.
• Providing administration support to colleagues.
• Outgoing postal management, ensuring records are updated accordingly.
• Minute taking for meetings and generating those minutes where applicable.
• Complying with FCA Conduct Rules
Qualifications and skills:
* Previous administration experience.
• 5 GCSE’s Grade 6 (B) or above, including Maths and English.
• Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Polite telephone manner, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely organised, able to prioritise and adapt to a changing work schedule.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Use initiative.
• Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
• Committed to completing tasks on time.
• Self motivated with a strong aptitude for learning.
• A strong customer focus with the desire to go the extra mile.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
