Job Description:
Sheridan Maine are pleased to be partnering with a national organisation in Reading who are currently seeking an Accountant to to join their head office finance team.

The role will be recruited on a 6-9 month fixed term contract basis and will be supporting the team with a number of tasks relating to fixed assets:

Key duties include:

* Cleanse and maintain the fixed asset register
* Assist with the transfer of assets to a new company register
* Map out the process to manage the transfer of assets
* Verify the accuracy of fixed assets across the business
* Reconcile fixed asset data
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure accuracy of the process
* Provide reporting to stakeholders

To be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:

* Prior knowledge and experience of fixed assets
* Experience of working in a busy accounting environment
* AAT qualified or part qualified candidate
* Good understanding of ERP systems and excel

The company have free car parking onsite and are accessible by public transport. Hybrid working is available.
