Job Description:
Marks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds centre based legal firm, who are looking for a Billing Manager to cover maternity until March 2025!
They require a candidate with significant experience of billing and/or other aspects of revenue control within a professional services environment, with strong leadership skills. This role will have 2 direct reports within the team of 7 Billers.
For this position, they will pay up to £50,000 with hybrid working (1/2 days office working per week).
Responsibilities of the role include:
* End to end ownership of the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion against target whilst supporting business growth
* Setting and communicating monthly billing targets for each division
* Direct supervision of two Billing Managers as well as providing leadership to the wider Billing team of 7
* Management of WIP lock up within the business
* Providing an environment to inspire and deliver continuous improvement, with a focus to consistently achieve against KPIs, and maintain deadlines
* Running monthly Head of Division WIP review meetings to review aged WIP
