Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced, qualified Investment Manager to join their highly successful, growing team.
We are looking for someone who is Level 6 CISI qualified (or a Chartered Wealth Manager/Chartered Financial Analyst) with experience of advising private clients and managing investment portfolios. This role will be supporting a Senior Investment Manager with their clients, as well as managing a small client book that you will inherit day one. You will then look to grow this over time through client and colleague referrals and external business development.
There is a clear progression structure and extensive suppport. The wider group offers a range of services to individual and corporate clients and there is ample opportunity for internal referrals.
You will provide personalised investment advice and discretionary portfolio management to clients, working in partnership with Financial Planning colleagues to develop relationships.
Skills and Qualifications
* CISI Level 6 or above qualified Investment Manager (aspiring for Level 7), or CFA Chartered.
* Experience of managing discretionary investment portfolios and delivering investment advice, including experience of remodelling newly acquired portfolios
* Knowledge of Financial Planning and client advice, plus knowledge of complex and higher risk advice areas.
* In-depth understanding of financial markets/risk management techniques/regulatory requirement.
This is a hybrid role with typically 3 days a week in the office.
An excellent bonus scheme is on offer, directly related to revenue generated as well as discretionary general performance.
