Description
* Manage the company’s compliance framework within the Risk & Compliance department
* Ensure all financial services and activities are compliant with regulatory standards
* Develop and implement effective compliance and assurance strategies
* Using a risk-based approach, devise the annual monitoring plan and identify subsequent updates required based on the changing needs of the business
* Coordinate with different departments to ensure regulatory compliance
Profile
A successful Compliance and Assurance Manager should have:
* 5+ years’ operating in a management or supervisory level for a major company or division of a large corporation within UK Financial Services, preferably within a Compliance, QA or Legal capacity
* In depth knowledge and experience of operating within a BTC and BTB lending business
* Experience in the development and maintenance of Compliance plans and frameworks, and associated standards
* In depth knowledge of Compliance assurance methodologies
