Global Accounting Network are currently partnered exclusively with a growing property business to recruit for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is part-qualified or a finalist (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) to grow their commercial experience, alongside an established and high-performing team. The role will enable exposure and development so would suit somebody hoping to aid the final stages of their qualification.
Duties in this management accountant job will include but not be limited to managing month end close from start to finish including variance reporting, reconciliations, consolidation of p&l, balance sheet and cashflows, producing internal financial reports to a high standard and conducting in-depth variance analysis with budget holders. Additionally the role will involve overseeing payables and receivables including training and mentoring the finance assistant, treasury and cashflow management, producing the trial balance and supporting documentation for year end financial statements in accordance with FRS102, supporting with the statutory audit process for all group companies, ensuring filings and payments to HMRC are timely and accurate and building strong relationships with members of the wider team. Ultimately this management accountant job will drive productivity across the finance function and allow for involvement with ad-hoc projects for the wider business where required.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant job will be actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualifications, will have previous experience producing management accounts and supporting at month end, will have a strong technical accounting background to be demonstrated through experience and studies and will be driven to develop and progress their professional career.
