Job Description:
Project Coordinator
Are you looking for an opportunity to establish a career in project management?

Are you looking to join a company that empowers your development?
About the Role:
A multi-disciplinary company with two decades of experience in the construction industry is seeking a couple of Project Assistants to join their friendly and growing team. Based in north Cardiff, with projects situated at public sites (hospitals, prisons, schools, etc.) across the UK, this company offers a varied working environment where all projects are unique.
As a Project Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Acting as a point of contact for clients and contractors, handling calls and emails.
* Collaborating with various stakeholders to define requirements and prioritisation.
* Setting up meetings, including logistics, invitations, schedules, and attendance.
* Writing notes and taking minutes, including maintaining and updating action logs.
* Ensuring actions are followed up and progressed by parties between meetings.
* Assisting with programme management, including control of key project deadlines.
* Drafting update reports, both internally and for clients.
* Reviewing, analysing, reporting, and presenting data in an accessible manner.
* Supporting your team and/or project manager in completing their tasks.
* Attending site visits to live projects.
About You:
Ideally, you will have a related degree (business, operations, law, engineering, etc.) or transferrable skills from previous professional experience, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, as well as superb organisation, an eye for detail, and fantastic verbal/written communication skills. While project management experience is desirable, it is not essential for this role. The primary focus is on finding someone with the right mindset, a willingness to learn, and a desire to establish a career in projects. As a result, graduate applications are welcomed.
You will have the opportunity to receive formal training in accredited schemes, such as Prince2 (Foundation, Practitioner), RIBA, and MS Projects, allowing you to grow your knowledge alongside crucial on-the-job project experience and education. You will have excellent exposure from the outset, working closely with colleagues, company directors, and senior client representatives, quickly expanding your knowledge and professional skills within this project management setting.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is up to £25,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The company also offers a variety of additional benefits including hybrid working, an early Friday finish, a Christmas shutdown period, and your birthday as paid leave. The leave allowance also increases with length of service and is supported by social events.
If this sounds like the role for you, please provide a copy of your CV for consideration.
