Position: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Derby
Salary Range: £28,000 - £30,000 + additional £60 sleep-in payment per shift
Contracted Hours:
An established residnetial children’s provider located in Derby are currently seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker. This individual will provide a high quality of care and support to children and young people with Learning Difficulties and Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager by leading the team to provide positive outcomes and promoting Independence
* Be responsible for shift planning, conducting supervisions, leading the team, as well as offering support and guidance to your colleagues
* Liaising with external parties and agencies
* Encourage and direct activities and interactions for the young people
Requirements:
* Hold either a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR Children and Young People’s / Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner
* Experience working within a Residential Children’s Home
* A genuine passion to support and nurture children and young people
* Ability to commit to shifts covering long days and sleep-in shifts
* Driver and ability to commute to Derby
