Your new role
You will be based on the £679 million improvement project on the 10-mile stretch of the A428 in Cambridgeshire. My client is open to applications on a permanent or temporary basis.
Key duties will include…
* Efficiently communicate between the project team and landowners
* Fortify the relationships between the project team and its stakeholders
* Provide expertise on agricultural related aspects of the project. Typical issues range from land drainage, land hand back and soil management.
* Provide expertise and support on land management
* Organise and attend site visit meetings with landowners
* Work with landowners to agree facilitation of works
* Regularly report to stakeholders to finalise the locations of installation of proposed infrastructure
Support the District Valuer to agree compensation
What you’ll need to succeed
* Relevant experience in land management, agriculture, or land agency
* A detailed understanding of land ownership and agricultural legislation
* Understanding of the construction environment (mainly soil management and drainage)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills when collaborating with landowners
* Experience in a design consultancy or contractor (ideal)
