Job Description:
Vehicle Technician/Fitter
Location - Malvern, Fulltime - Permanent -Up to £30,000 DOE
My client, a leading global manufacturer of performance fire and rescue vehicles is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Fitter to join their team, making a real difference across the world.
The Role:
* Working on various Rescue vehicles to customer specification within timescale
* Installing PTO’s, gearboxes, drive lines, pumps, hydraulic lines, and fittings.
* Working on vehicle chassis and associated equipment
* Working with cutters (Gas/mechanical)
* Working from engineering drawings and fabricate assemblies accordingly.
* Working at height or under vehicles.
* Occasional working off site.
The Person:
* Experience with air and electrically operated hand tools.
* Experience working on fire vehicles - advantageous
* Ability to work to a very high standard within a small team.
* Excellent communication skills
The Benefits:
* 4.5 days week (7-4 mon-thurs / Fri 1pm finish)
* 25 days holiday plus Banks
* Sick pay after qualifying period
