Job Description:
Learning Mentor, SEMH School. £90 - £100 per day.
Learning Mentor requires to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 4 student who attends an SEMH school based in Solihull. This role requires a Learning Mentor to provide 1-2-1 behavioural and academic support for this student during lessons and deliver regular intervention sessions to help improve engagement with education.

The school is looking for a Learning Mentor who has previous experience helping young people to reengage in education and inspiring a love for learning. As a Learning Mentor you will be supporting on a 1-2-1 basis and may be asked to deliver interventions outside of the classroom. The student requires a calm, patient and empathetic mentor who understands the barriers that young people face. Experience working with challenging behaviours or SEMH is essential for this role.

Job Role:
* Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis.
* Working as a Learning Mentor / LSA.
* Acting as a positive role model for students.
* Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours.
* Helping students to reengage with education.
