We are working with our client based in Wetherby who are leaders in their market, on an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Administrator to join their friendly team. The business has over a decade of experience providing their excellent product range to the global market, and they have seen incredible growth over the years. In order to be successful in your application you’ll be a strong administrator with a keen eye for attention to detail, ideally having worked within a similar shipping / export role.
 
 
Your duties as Shipping Administrator:

* Place orders by email or fax with manufacturers.
* Review, check and acknowledge customer orders.
* Arrange despatch by appropriate carriers.
* Raise order confirmation to client, including delivery date.
* Generate all invoices, packing notes and other documentation.
* Respond to correspondence with clients in a timely manner.
* Work with clients / representatives, scheduling deliveries and arranging installations.
* Contact clients to receive feedback on items received.
* Gain product knowledge through training sessions.
* Liaise and attend meetings to aid development.
 
Skills required: 
* Previous shipping / exporting experience (preferred).
* Great communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritise work load.
* Proficiency using computing systems / software.
