Job Description:
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer based within Leeds, LS9
The role will be working alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate must be able to carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
Available shifts / Locations below:
* Monday until Friday (5 days a week)- This is a full time position
* Postcode: LS9 7TF
* 08:00-17:00PM
* £17.24 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
* Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
* This position is PAYE.
Skills required:
* Must have at least 2 years previous mechanical maintenance experience
* DBS certificate or equivalent Required
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
* Able to manage time effectively.
* Ability to work both alone and in a team.
* Awareness of health and safety procedures
Duties and experience required:
* To be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services,
* Must have experience working with heating and domestic water services
* Must have experience working with general Electrical services such as lighting and power, Air handling units, Low voltage electrical distribution system and switch gear, Emergency standby generating plant, Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting. Electrical control systems. Building Management System
* To be able to manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes
* To be able to assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.
* To be able to maintain records and complete service reports as appropriate. Providing regular reports on progress to your line manager
* On occasion, to be able to carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
* To be able to assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.
