Reporting to senior HR Team
Reed are recruiting for a HR Assistant to support the Human Resources function of a Scottish Accounting Business. This role is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced HR team at a crucial and exciting time in the business.
We are ideally seeking a HR/CIPD qualified graduate with at least 1 years’ experience in a HR assistant or HR Administrator role.
The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in relationship building and embracing change within the company’s forward-thinking and dynamic business.
Day to Day responsibilities of the role:
* Administer updates to the employee handbook and distribute to staff.
* Provide admin support for the Employee Relations caseload.
* Facilitate communications between HR department and staff, including setting up onboarding discussions and exit interviews.
* Support the annual salary review process and payroll information collation.
* Manage compliance projects and contribute to the firm’s compliance efforts.
* Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including job profiling, advertising, CV review, interviews, and compliance checks.
* Support the firmwide induction process and contribute to training and development initiatives.
* Build professional relationships with key stakeholders and third parties to effectively deliver the role.
* Attend relevant HR/employment law seminars for continuous professional development.
To succeed in this role you will need:
* Honours degree in HR Management (or CIPD equivalent).
* 1 Years’ experience in a similar junior HR role.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
* Eagerness to learn with the confidence to ask questions and contribute solutions.
* Proven organisational skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
* Enthusiastic, results-driven, and cooperative with a positive and confident approach to work.
* Client-focused with a commitment to quality (first time, on time, every time).
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment or on own initiative.
