The client is a medium sized property and construction business based in Greater Manchester. Following a recent restructure they have newly created a Finance Business Partner role to spearhead the projected growth of the business.
They are looking for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant who has a few years post qualified experience, as well as commercial finance exposure, to work alongside the commercial finance team and report into the FD. This role will be place a key part in supporting the operations team and providing them with insight. There will also be a big focus on the business partnering element, so being able to build and maintain relationships is important to this position.
Description
* Key member of the senior Finance team
* Work closely with the Managing Director providing and interpreting financial and operational KPI’s to help inform operational decision making and driving actions where needed
* Support and challenge operational teams in assessing new site appraisals, tracking existing site performance and overheads management both in a financial and non-financial context
* Production of comprehensive monthly Regional reporting pack, including financial reports provided by the Central Finance team, and commentary covering operational and financial performance in conjunction with the Managing Director
* Responsible for leading on the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the Region, working closely alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner and Central Finance team
* Specific projects and other analysis as required by the Divisional Managing Director, FD, CFO and wider business
Profile
The client is looking for fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with circa 3-5 years PQE who is coming from a commercial finance background.
Following a recent restructure, the client has newly created this Finance Business Partner role that will be reporting directly into the FD and the Senior leadership Team. Being a member of the senior finance team, you will be responsible for providing insight and support for the operational teams in the region.
Following the restructure, they are looking to accelerate their growth and this role will is going to be key in this processes as they will be involved in the planning and reporting. This candidate will be highly driven and and be in a position to spearhead the predicted growth.
