Role Overview:
As Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting our Finance Team and contributing to the financial structures and growth initiatives of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Oversight:
You will oversee regulatory aspects such as managing the company pension scheme, executing company secretary duties, and coordinating audit and tax functions.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the creation of global financial objectives, maintain the company’s financial forecast, and set the strategy and roadmap for the finance department.
International Expansion:
Support international expansion, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and assess the suitability of new regions for potential growth.
Financial Reporting:
Handle comprehensive regional reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash summary, and analysis. Manage balance sheet reconciliations and present month-end reporting and KPIs to the board.
Risk Management and Leadership:
Implement effective governance and risk management, act as the gatekeeper for cash flow forecasting, and lead the team through strong leadership.
Continuous Improvement:
Set effective budgets for the finance department, recruit and onboard new team members, and review department processes for efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach.
* Experience in international business and expansion.
