Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef based within Portsmouth,PO9
Available shifts / Locations below:
* Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week)-This is a full time position
* Postcode: PO9 3LY
* 06:00-16:00pm
* £15.69 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
* Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
Skills and experience required:
* Must have at least 2 years previous Chef experience
* DBS Required
* City & Guilds NVQ 3 in Cookery or equivalent for the Catering Industry
* Food Safety Certificate Level 2
* Allergen Level 2 Training
* Chef whites and safety shoes
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
* Able to manage time effectively
* Ability to work both alone and in a team
* Awareness of health and safety procedures
* COSHH
* Significant experience in catering environments producing for large numbers
* Communicate information relating to food service requirements to staff and other members of the public both verbally and by telephone.
* Notifying the person in charge on any discrepancies from receipt and distribution of catering supplies
* Responsible for the correct operation of kitchen equipment
