Hazardous Chemical Assessor

Do you have experience handling / disposing of hazardous chemicals? Are you familiar with EWC codes and ADRs? Are you comfortable liaising with clients in an office-based role?
We are currently offering the opportunity for a new assessor to join an environmental-based company in Oxfordshire. Our client is seeking a hard-working and engaging individual to join their team.
The Role
As a Hazardous Chemical Assessor, you will be responsible for:
* Interacting with clients & accurately classifying their hazardous waste,
* Ensuring all conditions are met for pre-acceptance of hazardous waste,
* Determining appropriate routes of waste disposal,
* Producing & issuing invoices for waste disposal.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Prior experience working within the hazardous waste industry (e.g., as a Technical Assessor, Site Chemist, Chempac Chemist, Hazpack Chemist) (essential)
* Knowledge of EWC codes & ADRs (essential)
* Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
* Able to relocate / commute to Oxfordshire (essential)
* An interest in working in an office-based position & liaising with clients via phone / email (essential)
