Transport Administrator required, with immediate start!
Come and join our Challenge-trg Recruitment team as a Transport Administrator for our client, in Golborne, WA3 3JD.
Pay rates as a Transport Administrator:
Standard pay: £12.75 p/h
Typical working hours as a Transport Administrator:
You will be working 37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday from 09:00am till 17:00pm.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Production of daily, weekly and monthly dashboards and KPI reports for distribution operations ensuring quality and data accuracy in line with the agreed metrics and definitions
* Dealing with customer (s) enquiries giving advice and carryout full track and trace to resolution of customer enquiry via online tracking systems and Supply Chain helpdesks
* Active participation and attendance within distribution team meetings and audio calls
* To have sound knowledge of Supply Chain systems for reporting purposes including WMS / TraX / Microlise / DLX / Tachomaster
* Own the de-briefing process, asking all the right questions to the drivers when they return to site with their paperwork
* Complete daily / weekly Time & Attendance system in order for the monthly payroll to be run. Collate any pay queries and report them back to the manager
* Weekly input of agency worked hours onto the Neuven payroll system
* To assist the wider operation with flexible attendance patterns when required by your manager and supervisor
* To have the skillsets to cover all office operational tasks as and when required to support operational needs
* To develop and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and internal business partners to support service improvement, this includes transformation managers, service delivery teams and other operational units (e.g. warehousing).
* Ensuring SC processes are performed in accordance with the SC Process Handbooks
* Advising other team members on working practices as necessary.
* Complete all mandatory and Health & Safety training within set timescales
Candidates will need to possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
* Knowledge of transportation and safety standards
* Numerate and literate
* Excellent levels of communication both written and verbal
* Ability to work on own initiative, while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment
* Ability to build effective team relationships
* Work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality
