A well established organisation is on the search for a Credit Risk Manager to join their team for 6 Months.
The key responsibilities:
* IFRS9
-Monthly provisioning
-Review and improvements to MI
-Liaise internally and externally on issues relating to data
* Mortgage decision batch
-Collate data from data tapes to produce file that is sent to bureaus
-Liaise with partners to maintain quality data in datatapes and add extra datatapes to support the process
-Liaise with bureaus to establish the process and maintain it monthly
-Transition the process elsewhere
* MGC
-Monitoring pack review and support for any changes relating to models or process
-Papers relating to IFRS9 (economic updates, model changes, overlays, etc)
* Audit
-Audit planning of workload for the team
-Project management and providing updated to relevant committees
-Supporting audit queries, meetings and actions
-Third party management (4Most, bureaus)
-Documentation for IFRS9 (model docs, framework, process documentation, etc)
-Variance analysis and input into annual operational planning
-Managing the process of signing new contracts and ongoing relationships with 3rd parties involved in provisioning
-Committee MI and analysis to support proposals and or deep dives into trends
-CRC, Credit performance meeting, MGC, monthly provisioning, BRC and Risk committee
Key Requirements:
* A proven track record in Second Line Credit Risk in an FS environment
* Numerical degree
* An ability to build strong relationships, both within the team and across the business.
* Ability to communicate complex analysis in a structured and clear way.
* Strong data analysis programming skills (SQL, Python, SAS, R,)
* Goal driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of lending P&L
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
