Description
The key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable role are:
* Analysing, processing and posting data in an accurate and timely manner.
* To follow standard work procedures and maintain and update them as required.
* Reconciling financial data and preparing reports and returns.
* Dealing with internal/external customers and resolving queries.
* Resolve queries, identify recurring issues and propose solutions.
* Identify any areas of non compliance and report on them appropriately.
* Maintaining an awareness of data protection issues and keeping abreast of relevant areas of legislation.
* Identify opportunities for improvement to help reach and maintain Finance future state
* To become involved in other ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Accounts Payable role is someone with:
* Qualifications required: Essential - GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent including English and Mathematics.
* Experience required
* Demonstrable experience in an office environment and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Enjoys working in a financial environment, adopts a calm approach to a busy workload and is an effective and customer focused team player
