Change Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a business that provides essential services to the local council to find a Senior Finance Administrator. Working within a small finance team you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and support with the month end reporting and various other financial administration duties.

Duties include:
* Support the preparation and auditing of accounts to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Assist with month end reporting activities and ensure accurate KPI reporting is delivered as required.
* Ensure invoicing, billing and payroll activities are undertaken and completed accurately to deadlines.
* Monitor bank accounts and matching payments for reconciliation purposes, flagging anomalies in a timely manner.
* Undertake reconciliation of credit card statements.
* Undertake credit control activities.
* Regularly review and maintain financial policies and procedures in conjunction and agreement with the Finance Manager.


The ideal candidate will have good experience working within a transactional accounts team and ideally supporting with management accounts prep or have aspirations to do so. You will also have excellent knowledge of MS Excel and ideally worked towards your AAT or similar.
