Job Description:
We are delighted to partner with a rapidly expanding and highly regarded Multi Academies Trust in West Yorkshire to find an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As a key member of the Trust Executive team, the CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the Trust, ensuring full financial compliance. This role requires strategic and operational leadership, management of day-to-day financial operations, and providing valuable insights for commercial decision-making. As the interim CFO, you will lead the central finance team, handle audit and risk management, and maintain excellent financial leadership within the Trust. The contract will involve managing the audit process so strong audit / financial accounting expertise is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in the education sector, preferably within a Multi Academy Trust environment.
The role could be conducted remotely with occasional visits to the site.
