We are currently recruiting for a Financial Director to join a non-profit organisation based in Stockport. The right candidate for this role will manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department to provide strategic and financial guidance to the organisation to ensure the financial commitments are met along with long term financial health. You will report directly to the CEO and have 3 employees reporting directly into you.

The Role
* To oversee the operational management withing the finance department
* To provide leadership to the senior management team and drive the strategy and performance of the organisation
* Successfully drive the financial planning through analytical strategies
* Be able to work in an analytical way to produce budgets, forecasts, review performance and risk
* Prepare detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance at all times in live with legislation, regulations and audit requirements
The Person
* Professional accounting qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA
* At least 5+ years of experience with a Head of Finance or Finance Director role
* Experience within a non-profit or public sector organisation are desirable
* Experience using SAGE, NAVison or Salesforce would be an advantage
* Additional languages would be an advantage but not essential
