In this role, you will manage a client portfolio of audit clients, including associated accounts and corporate tax services, reporting to partners on progress, and liaising directly with clients. The key responsibilities include:
* Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing the client audit process, reviewing audit files, and preparing final audit reports for partner review and distribution to clients.
* Supervising junior team members and liaising with senior members of client finance team on a day-to-day basis to ensure the assignment is completed as per the agreed terms.
* Review financial statements and audit file for presentation to those charged with governance.
* Attendance at audit planning and clearance meetings with clients.
* Ensure assurance quality at all times and compliance with the firm’s procedures.
* Reporting to client partner on progress, billing, and matters arising.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, identifying any contentious issues and putting forward a proposed solution.
* Acting as a point of contact for clients and providing advice to them regarding their business.
* Involvement in training, mentoring, and supervising of junior members of the team, including carrying out junior staff appraisals.
* Involvement in business development and other areas to aid personal progression.
Requirements

Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven experience in client handling and in managing a diverse portfolio of clients. Candidates must also be keen to continue to develop their technical and professional skills with a view to future progression.
