Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 + O/T (£45k-£55k) + Pension + Car/Van + Benefits

Days Based - Monday to Friday

The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery automation solutions to a wide variety of industries. The company has been established for over 75 years and currently employs over 300 people Europe wide; they have become a centre of excellence within automated process machinery to the FMCG industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional field service engineer, with electrical service and commissioning experience.
Responsibilities
* To carry out repairs, on site commissioning, service, and calibration of customer’s inline inspection equipment to the stated processes and procedures which will also include where required the provision of on-site customer training.
* Carry out upgrades and refurbishments on customer site.
* Handle on site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner.
* Must be prepared to adapt to all types of environments and comply with local client’s health and safety regulations.
* Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the company procedures.
* Provide technical support via phone and email where required
Requirements
* Good Technical Electrical / Electronic skills
* Minimum apprentice trained in electromechanical / electrical engineering
* Ideally experience in a field service role and familiar with all aspects of customer service including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
* PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware an advantage
* Good PC literacy
* Good Organisation skills orientated around reliably delivering what is promised
* Good methodical approach to problem solving
* Full current UK driving licence
* Good communication skills and customer service skills
* Flexibility will be required to work overtime
