Senior Product Manager Escorted Touring
Base Salary to £45,000 + Great Benefits
Hybrid - Central London
Our client is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial travel and media company specialising in Escorted Touring and small ship river cruising.
They have developed partnerships with some of the world’s best media brands to provide exclusive bespoke travel programs for their readers and members.
Due to their growth, they are recruiting for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their team who has extensive experience within the escorted tours travel market, this is essential.
The Senior Product Manager will have full ownership of the product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation, including the management of product pipeline, ensuring internal and external stakeholders have the tools to maximise sales and discover new opportunities.
This is a hybrid role with one day per week spent in the office although fully remote will be considered for the right candidate
Senior Product Manager Responsibilities:
Create and maintain internal product pipelines and schedules, from conception to completion, including pricing for Tours packages
Ensure a continued delivery of an engaging, competitive, and diverse product mix that best suits our media partner audiences and enables the business to meet its sales targets
Maintain and develop strong supplier relationships, managing rate discussions, overrides and commercial agreements
Negotiate allocations for product packages and monitor availability, sourcing alternative options as appropriate
Work closely with other areas of the business to deliver packages in line with pre-defined deadlines as well as answer all sales and marketing-related queries in a timely manner
Ensure product content is accurate
Senior Product Manager Experience Required:
Extensive product and contracting experience at a cruise/ tour operator within escorted tours or river cruising is essential
Extensive experience of managing supplier relationship, contracting and rate negotiation
Impeccable organisation and administration skills
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to capitalise on revenue generating product opportunities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Passionate about cultivating an open, positive and collaborative company culture
Senior Product Manager Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary to £45,000 depending on experience
