Finance Process Accountant

We are looking for a Finance Process Accountant to follow and analyse predetermined Group Finance procedures. Working closely with the Finance teams and IT to provide improvement recommendations and implement time saving strategies that can maximise accurate reporting.
This role provides the link between the Finance department and technical domains through effective communication, opportunity identification and a structured and methodical approach towards process and systems development.

Skills and experience you’ll bring to us
* Fully qualified or part qualified accountant
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills are essential
* Knowledge and experience of SAP Financials (Advantageous)
* Knowledge and experience of MS Power BI (Advantageous)
* Knowledge and experience of MS Sharepoint (Advantageous)
* Previous experience in efficiency improvements (Advantageous)
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Have confident communication skills between all levels of business
* Strong Excel skills
How you will help us and what you can expect
* Efficiency improvements will have a focus on accounting processes and systems.
* Collaborate with your team to ensure your improvements efficiently integrate with other areas of Finance.
* Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the finance systems.
* Acting as the Superuser for our finance systems, overseeing system changes, integrations, and automation enhancements.
* Ensuring amendments to systems and procedures are approved and documented.
* Identifying areas for financial process improvement and automation.
* Ensuring system permissions align with approved roles and responsibilities and ensure segregation of duties are in place.
* Collaboration with our IT teams.
* Supporting the annual external audit process, particularly IT General Controls for Finance.
* Work with MSC HQ on improvements to data collection and reporting from our accounting systems.
* Creating power bi reports using the available data sources within the business.
* Leading projects to ensure finance processes and procedures have been accounted for.
