Finance Manager (Housebuilder)
St Albans (Flexible working)
£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus
Leading housebuilder and residential developer is seeking to hire a Finance Manager to bolster its existing team. The role reports to the senior finance manager with responsibility for a small team.
Responsibilities
* Line management responsibility for a team of 3
* Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and commentaries for a division including analysis of key metrics such as ROCE
* Liaising with operations teams, supporting the decision making process and managing overheads
* Lead on and support annual budget and forecasting
* Working closely with the management accountants to review and analyse variances in the budget
* Key contact for the external auditors at year end
* Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
* Oversee cash and dealing with banks and lenders
* Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation
Your background
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant
* Housebuilding / Residential Development experience preferred
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Solid stakeholder management experience
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
