Our fantastic client based in ascot have a great opportunity for CAD Technician to join their organisation. In this role you will work closely with the Facilities team and other contractors to co-ordinate the design of temporary infrastructures, ensuring that both internal and external elements of the temporary build are planned, whilst ensuring each structure design delivers the brand value.
The role of CAD Technician involves:
* Design projects using AutoCAD
* Working with external suppliers to produce fully co-ordinated drawings for temporary structures
* Producing site plans
* Update drawings of the permanent facilities on site
* Produce plans, elevations, 3D drawings and visuals, where needed for internal and external use
* Create table plans for events working with other business partners.
* Produce internal and external elevations of the buildings for rendering of finishes
* Assist with surveying the site to enable it to be GPS co-ordinated
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will:
* Have the ability to draw plans and create 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD
* Have prior experience of working with design packages such as Solidworks, Revit or Sketch up would be an advantage.
* Be able to use Microsoft office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Have good communication and presentation skills.
* Have the ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
* Be educated to Degree level or equivalent.
