I am recruiting for an Import Clerk to join our client who are expanding!
Daily duties will include:
* Prepare and review import documentation including AWB, invoices , import permits and other related documentation
* Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
* Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods
* Stay updated with import regulations, tariffs and trade agreements to ensure compliance with local and international laws
* Liaise with stakeholders and relevant departments
* Calculate and track import duties, taxes and fees payable on imported goods
* Monitoring and tracking shipments and providing updates to clients
Experience needed:
* Previous experience in an airfreight import role
* Knowledge of temperature controlled procedures and regulations is an advantage
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working hours:
* 4on 4off NIGHTS 7pm - 7am
