Junior Design Engineer - Manufacturing / Sustainability
£30,000 - £35,000 + Training + Benefits
Hybrid role, based in London 3 days a week
Are you a Junior Design Engineer with hands on experience, looking for a technically exciting and varied role, with on-going training, technical progression and a competitive package?
You will help design new and existing automated systems for a market leading business who operate within the sustainability sector. Within a small team, your role will also include a hands element, troubleshooting systems, prototyping and supporting the shop floor teams.
A sustainable approach to shaping the way animals are fed, this company have gained a great reputation through their innovation and cutting edge projects. This position would suit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, who has a solid grasp of 3D CAD and is mechanically savvy or has supported production / shop floor teams. This is far from just an office based design job.
DUTIES
* Detailed design of new and existing automated systems and components
* Troubleshooting systems, supporting the shopfloor team
* Conduct prototyping and test studies, to continuously improve plant / machinery
PERSON
* Relevant degree in Engineering OR a HNC with significant experience
* Proficient with a recognised 3D CAD Package
* Industry or placement experience, in the design office and shopfloor
