Job Description:
As a Trainee Estimator, you will be an essential part of dynamic project teams in the Fire and Security Industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Surveyors: Work alongside experienced surveyors to analyze project requirements, assess costs, and prepare precise estimates.
- Contracts Management Support: Collaborate with our Contracts Management team to ensure seamless project execution. Gain a thorough understanding of contract terms and obligations.
- Supply Chain Management: Engage in our Supply Chain Management Initiative. Foster relationships with subcontractors to boost project efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Show flexibility and a willingness to undertake various tasks to support overall project success.
Candidate Profile:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Ideally from a technical / mechanical background.
- Strong Academic - A solid foundation in mathematics is essential. If you’re currently pursuing a relevant degree, your analytical skills are crucial.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate proactive and independent problem-solving abilities. Initiative is highly valued.
- IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Self-Motivation: Be driven and proactive in your work approach.
