Senior Credit/Billing Specialist - Oldbury - Hybrid working
Exciting opportunity for experienced Senior Credit/Billing Specialist for a successful business based in Oldbury. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic candidate who can take ownership of the Ledger and improve/increase collections.
You will have full responsibility for the credit function including:
* Ensure all debt is chased effectively and payment made within contractual terms, as defined by Company Policy, procedures, contractual & legal obligations, to ensure efficient debt management and maximum cash collection.
* Ensure effective follow up of queries so all revenue is secured and paid for within contractual payment terms
* Forecast monthly cashflow and escalate any issues to the Head of AR & Billing
* Provide support to the billing team to ensure all revenue is billed accurately and on time to maximise cash collection
* Ensure all sale invoices and credits are raised within the relevant time frames
* Ensure all levels of approval have been received before raising credits
* Ensure all revenue fees are secured via appropriate funding approvals from budget holders before invoicing
* Maintain account reconciliations, ensuring all periods are billed on time every time
* Ability to investigate and resolve billing queries including escalations back to relevant parties
