Position: Operations Executive
Location: Great Bridge, UK
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Reporting To: Operations Manager
The Role:
As the Operations Executive, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office activities, bridging gaps between sales, production, and technical teams, and driving continuous improvement across the board. This position is suited to someone with an analytical mindset, keen on making a significant impact in the Manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle after-sales issues efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Oversee procurement and stock management, ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies.
* Support sales and production to ensure operations run smoothly without impacting lead times.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing office and factory efficiencies.
* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
About You:
* Ideally educated to a Degree/Apprenticeship level in Business Management or related field would be preferred but not essential.
* Experience or a desire to progress in a Manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong communication skills, capable of effective negotiation and problem-solving.
* Proactive, with a history of using initiative to improve processes or reduce costs.
